Die künstlerische Arbeit des international tätigen Choreografen Felix Landerer hat seit 2006 ihren festen Standort in Hannover. Landerer&Company produziert in der niedersächsischen Landeshauptstadt jährlich ein bis zwei abendfüllende Choreografien. Im April 2010 gewann Felix Landerer den ersten Preis des Internationalen Wettbewerbs für Choreographie in Hannover sowie den Produktionspreis von Ed Wubbe für das Scapino-Ballett Rotterdam. Von 2011-2017 war er Hauschoreograf des Scapino-Ballett Rotterdam und erarbeitete dort regelmäßig Stücke. Die Produktion BLIND SPOT für Scapino wurde 2013 im Rahmen von »The Swan«, dem holländischen Tanzpreis, in der Kategorie »Beste Tanzproduktion« nominiert.
In den letzten Jahren war Felix Landerer als Gastchoreograf unter anderem für das Netherlands Dance Theatre, Ballet BC in Canada, die Tanzkompanie der Oper Göteborg, das Nationaltheater Mannheim und das Bern Ballett tätig.
Die Produktion REVOLTE! wurde im Rahmen des Tanzkongresses 2016 gezeigt. Mit dem Stück GALA! Waren Landerer&Company für das Best OFF – Festival Freier Theater der Stiftung Niedersachsen 2018 nominiert. Die regelmäßige, produktionsbegleitende Vermittlungsarbeit (offene Proben) zeichnete die Stiftung Kulturregion im April 2017 mit dem »pro visio«-Kulturpreis aus. Für sein nachhaltiges Engagement und die damit verbundene Bereicherung der hannoverschen Kulturlandschaft wurde Felix Landerer im November 2017 der Stadtkulturpreis verliehen.
Zurzeit ist er Künstlerische Leiter und Chefchoreograph der Sparte Tanz am Theater der Stadt Bielefeld.
The artistic work of the internationally active choreographer Felix Landerer has had its fixed base in Hanover since 2006. Landerer&Company produces one to two full-length choreographies each year in the Lower Saxony capital. In April 2010, Felix Landerer won the first prize at the International Choreography Competition in Hanover, as well as the production prize from Ed Wubbe for Scapino Ballet Rotterdam. From 2011–2017, he was the resident choreographer of Scapino Ballet Rotterdam and regularly developed works there. The production BLIND SPOT for Scapino was nominated in 2013 for “Best Dance Production” at The Swan, the Dutch dance prize.
In recent years, Felix Landerer has worked as a guest choreographer for, among others, the Netherlands Dance Theatre, Ballet BC in Canada, the Dance Company of the Gothenburg Opera, the National Theater Mannheim, and the Bern Ballet.
The production REVOLTE! was shown as part of the Dance Congress 2016.With the piece GALA! Landerer&Company was nominated for Best OFF – Festival of Free Theatre by the Foundation Niedersachsen in 2018. The regular, production-supporting outreach work (open rehearsals) earned the Foundation Kulturregion the “pro visio” Cultural Prize in April 2017. For his sustained commitment and the resulting enrichment of Hanover’s cultural landscape, Felix Landerer was awarded the City Cultural Prize in November 2017.
He is currently the Artistic Director and Chief Choreographer of the Dance Company at the Theater of Bielefeld.
